Links oben im Bild ein goldener Heiligenschein, ausgeschnitten aus einem Christusbild, wird in dieser Collage zum digitalen Relikt. Umgeben von grellen Farben, gestischen Linien und überlagerten Texturen verliert das Fragment seine sakrale Herkunft und erscheint wie ein fehlerhaft geladenes Symbol aus einer anderen Zeit.

"Überlagerungen 02" reflektiert die Transformation des Heiligen im Zeitalter der digitalen Reproduktion. Das Göttliche, einst Ursprung von Licht und Sinn, taucht hier als visuelles Datenfragment auf – geöffnet, kopiert, neu zusammengesetzt.

In the upper left corner of the image, a golden halo—cut out from an image of Christ—becomes a digital relic in this collage. Surrounded by garish colors, gestural lines, and layered textures, the fragment loses its sacred origin and appears as a flawed symbol from another time.

“Overlays 02” reflects the transformation of the sacred in the age of digital reproduction. The divine, once the source of light and meaning, appears here as a visual data fragment—opened, copied, and reassembled.
